As Director of Neonatal Services at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, he has led pioneering work in newborn intensive care, particularly in respiratory support, CPAP, mechanical ventilation, and surfactant administration. A passionate advocate for improved neonatal outcomes, he has trained hundreds of newborn care providers and authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, including three editions of the Manual of Newborn Respiratory Support. Dr. Derick Ochieng Ouma

Dr. Derick Ochieng Ouma is a dedicated physician and emergency medicine advocate with a strong passion for building sustainable emergency care systems in Africa. As Outpatient Department Team Lead at Avenue Hospital Kisumu, he has played a key role in establishing and strengthening emergency department services in both Nairobi and Kisumu. A Master Trainer of the WHO’s Basic Emergency Care Course, he has supervised and delivered training programs across East Africa, empowering healthcare professionals to deliver lifesaving interventions with limited resources. Dr. Ouma is committed to expanding access to emergency care across all Evercare facilities, advancing preparedness, and ensuring equitable access to high-quality, patient-centered emergency services. Outside work, he is an avid classical music enthusiast and a member of the Nairobi Music Society and Orchestra.
Dr. Ifunanya Ilodibe

Dr. Ifunanya Ilodibe is a seasoned physician leader with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare operations, and quality management. Appointed Chief Executive Officer of EHA Clinics in 2025, she is the organization’s first non-founding CEO. Her leadership is anchored in advancing people-centered care, operational excellence, and sustainable innovation. Since joining EHA Clinics in 2019, she has led pivotal initiatives, including managing the COVID-19 isolation center, implementing quality systems for JCI accreditation, and strengthening clinical governance across multiple facilities. As Assistant Manager, Supply Chain at Evercare Hospital Lahore, she oversees pharmaceutical procurement, inventory management, and process optimization to ensure continuous and efficient clinical service delivery. With a degree in Pharmacy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Quality Healthcare Management, she brings a strong blend of technical and managerial expertise to her role. Dr. Ayesha Ashfaq is a highly accomplished Consultant Neurologist at Evercare Hospital, Lahore, with expertise in stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, brain infections, and neuromuscular disorders. She holds Fellowships from the European Board of Neurology and in Vascular Neurology, and has presented her research on neurofilament light chains as biomarkers in multiple sclerosis at leading international platforms including MENACTRIMS, ECTRIMS, and PSN conferences. Known for her dedication, precision, and leadership, Mrs. Okugbeni is an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, the Association of Lady Pharmacists, and the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria, where she contributes to the Education and Television Committee. Dr. Ifedayo Ezenwa Adejare is a seasoned Consultant Urologist with over 20 years of medical experience, including 8 years of specialization in urology. His clinical expertise spans benign prostate enlargement, prostate cancer, urethral reconstruction, endourology, and male factor infertility, with a strong focus on minimally invasive procedures such as bipolar TURP and laser treatment for kidney stones. Since joining Evercare Hospital Lekki in February 2020, Dr. Adejare has advanced his skills through a subspecialty fellowship in endourology at Care Hospital, Hyderabad, India. As Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), he plays a pivotal role in clinical governance and strategic medical leadership.
